The Harry Potter Store can be found on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. This enchanting store, featuring a variety of magical experiences, is set to open its doors this spring, specifically on April 10th, at 676 N Michigan Avenue, beneath the Omni Hotel Chicago. The store will showcase themed areas, exclusive merchandise, props, and a “Butter Beer Bar,” which serves butterbeer, a beloved magical beverage from the Harry Potter series that can be found in various wizarding establishments.
The building’s exterior reflects the city’s rich architectural heritage, welcoming visitors with a moving mermaid design inspired by the Hogwarts headmaster’s bathroom window, reminiscent of the school attended by Harry and his friends. Inside, the design evokes themes of resilience and rebirth, as seen in the film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” featuring details related to the “Triwizard Tournament” tasks from the movie.
