Since its opening in the West End in 2016, ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ has welcomed 2 million audience members to the Palace Theatre. The show’s run has now been extended until February 15, 2026. This play, based on the original story by J.K. Rowling and adapted by Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, follows a new courageous generation at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, set 19 years after the events involving Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Calendar expressed their excitement about adding new seats, which will allow even more people to experience the magic of ‘Harry Potter’ in London in the coming years. Nica Burns, CEO and co-owner of Nimax Theaters, commented on the production’s success.
The current cast features David Ricardo-Pierce as Harry Potter, Claire Rams as Ginny Potter, Ellis Ray as Albus Potter, Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley, and Nana as Hermione Granger, along with Aggie Appadoo, Yves de Leon as Weasley, and Harry Akrow as Scorpius Malfoy.
