Stephen Frye revealed that he would “certainly consider” his role in the Harry Potter TV series, and that he even knows who can play.

There are details about who takes on the main role and who could step into the shoes of Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and more, and the magical adaptation is slowly released .

HBO confirmed in 2023 that JK Rowling’s book fits a small screen, and an open casting call was announced in September.

Since then, it has been rumoured that John Lithgow has fallen into a “last lecture” to play Albus Dumbledore, but like Sirius Black actors Gary Oldman, Jude Law and Peter Everett The name was thrown into the mix.

Some fans even hope to play Stephen as his beloved principal, but the 67-year-old teased him with another role in mind.

When asked by Metro if he was going to appear in upcoming series and if he had already been approached, he told us: “Well, I definitely think about it Please! I’ll think about anything interesting.

“No, as far as I know, I haven’t gone. Make sure my agent knows they’re running past it.”

He continued: “I was reading that John Lithgow was going to play Dumbledore. I worked with him, he is a great actor and absolutely amazing. He is a small (Dumbledore’s) It is mostly made for glasses.

“So I don’t know who’s going to play. I’m all too old with those words, right?” he laughed.

“Maybe I can be a minister of magic, or is it something like that? Cornelius Fudge…for everything I know they’ve already cast him.

Then he joked: “They do seven episodes in each book, isn’t that so? So 49 episodes – it’s a big series… Or I could be a fat woman in portraits !”

Stephen spoke at Owo in Raffles London at the UK and Ireland honorary event at the Newport Beach Film Festival, where he won the Icon Award, celebrating his over 25 years of experience and contribution to the film industry.

In the original Harry Potter film, Robert Hardy played the Minister of Magic after seeing Richard Harris and Michael Gambon portray Professor Dumbledore.

HBO Max confirmed that the series was officially appearing in the film in 2023, saying, “Your Hogwarts letter is here.

‘Max ordered their first #HarryPotter scripted TV series. This is a faithful adaptation of the iconic book. #streamonmax. ‘

HBO also teases the show’s 10 years of experience, with each season being based on each of the seven books in the novel franchise, boasting a whole new cast.
