Pierce Brosnan has revealed the character he hopes to portray.
The legendary 72-year-old actor shared his long-standing desire to take on the role of Dumbledore in the Harry Potter remake.
Reports indicate that JK Rowling’s magical universe is being reimagined, with several beloved characters being recast, including John Lithgow as the headmaster of Hogwarts.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Brosnan commented:
“Dumbledore is about my family. I’m joking about stepping into Dumbledore’s era. I don’t particularly want to go there right now, but if approached for the role, I would likely accept it,” he said.
Brosnan also noted that he tends to take on most projects that are offered to him, explaining, “As an actor, there are sometimes choices, but then there are family, children, beautiful homes, and property to consider.”
