Reports from Harry Potter’s upcoming HBO adaptations reveal potential casting news about the key roles of the seven seasons of storyline, scheduled for the next decade.

Aunt Petunia – Phoebe Waller Bridge
Fiona Shaw has produced the role of Harry’s extremely awful, slightly hysterical aunt who overdubbed her cousin Dudley, but seriously imagines Phoebe playing a role in her walk and hilariously You can do it. Albus Dumbledore – John Lithgo
Unlike the original film series, where casting was strictly British, HBO is taking another tact as the US-born star is reportedly in the final talk to play Hogwarts’ Twinkly Eyed Headmaster. Apparently.
John was previously surprised by the role of Winston Churchill’s crown, and recently painted Roald Dahl in the Royal Titan, so you can see that he has a perfect accent!
Sharon Hogan – Professor McGonagall
Is Bad Sisters star Sharon on the list playing Minerva McGonagall, the vice principal of Scotland at Hogwarts and Gryffindor House director, according to Deadline? She couldn’t be more perfect in the role.

Brett Goldstein – Rubeus Hagrid
Perhaps the most head-turning casting is Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein. He was last clean shaved on the Apple TV+ shrink as Rebeus Hagrid, a hairy, semi-giant groundkeeper at Hogwarts. Following in the footsteps of the late Robbie Coltrane, the role will see Brett accidentally landing them in sticky situations while making friends with Harry, Ron and Hermione.
