I was recently introduced to Louise Freeman’s double ring theory of ten book structures in the Strike-Ellacott series written by Rowling-Galbraith. It’s a lot of fun for us who enjoy tracking the parallelism of authors. Dr. Freeman is one of the very few serious strikers who play the game of Chiasmus and build on the ring work that took place with Harry Potter. I think the distinctive man will tell you whether it’s her favorite image or Evan Willis’s tetractis theory. What is the length? ” – A better model. From the smallest I read, I like Mr Willis’ preferences because I understand his traditional enclosure symbolism.
What I like about Double Ring Theory is that it overlooks the complex web of parallelism between strike novels, as Dr. Freeman details, is the symbol itself. When directed towards another axis, true, the double ring structure is reflected as one of Rolling’s favorite Christian symbols, namely one of the Ichisis fish, that is, the union of heaven and earth . See “Suggesting about Rowling’s favorite paintings and her artistry and meaning” and the description of Mazmace’s mother-of-pearlfish necklace pendant in “Running Grave, Partner: Ring Reading (a).” In a word from the latter:
The fish has been a symbol of Christ since the Apostolic era, a glyph of two intersecting circles representing the heavens and earth, and the seamless union is the logo of the sphere as Jesus of Nazareth, Perfect God, and Perfect Man. It’s an incarnation. Horizontal, this circle’s intersection is of great importance to the Christian iconography, vertically vertically as below, the Vesica Pisi “fish container” or mandolla “almonds”. If Dr. Freeman is right, and again, if Rowling’s readers track similarities like her, its importance is that the Strike Eracotte Psychomachia of the Spirit and Souls, combined with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. It may not be more about wedding bands than as represented by Vesica Piscis. If this traditional symbolism is already being discussed by Dr. Freeman, etc., apologise!
Those who want to find and understand the symbols of traditional art and Rowling’s work can see Harry Potter’s Traditional Symbols and Chromalan Strike: Perennialism Views. One of the symbols discussed there is that of the heart. How appropriate is it for a Valentine’s Day post? I’m very appropriate, so I played with the idea of the Play Series and came up with the mirrored picture representation of the series that produced the hearts of the swan pair and Cupid. Two major challenges to the Harry Potter series’ representation as a ring structure are (1) Joyce Odell’s detailed explanation of how the Phoenix order is a long-term repetition of the philosopher’s stone; 2) All the similarities that connect the prisoners of Azkaban with the prisoners of Azkaban are the death treasures. There were also many pointer issues with the Goblet of Fire throughout the series. Simply put, the pristine turtleback structure of the original modelling was blown away by those additional lines.
My 2010 solution to these challenges was to redraw the original sequence of circles so that the fire goblet is in the center of the circle, with two linked 1-5 pairs nearby adjacent It was to do it.
The beauty of its structure is that, in addition to making the “important” book described by Rowling in 2000, the circles are fully depicted in the book of order, with adjacent pairs 1-5 and 3-7. It was a lot of work for cute Valentine’s Day posts, I acknowledge that Lowling gave the “heart” in Potter’s book, given the importance of swans and “hearts” in the strike.
Alas, it’s not meaningful. Because there are still three books in Strike Elracott Shakespeare’s romance. Even if we draw wings in the mirror swan series (if a distinctive human strikes troubled blood and nine death hoards), we think we’re at a dead end about this. – Ring and Evan Willis’ Theory of Tetractis.
