Currently, actors John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, and Paapa Esiedu are set to take over the roles of Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, and Severus Snape, respectively, previously portrayed by the late Michael Gambon, Sir Richard Harris, Dame Maggie Smith, and Alan Rickman. Additionally, Nick Frost from Skeleton Crew – SM-33 is being cast to portray the beloved character Rubeus Hagrid, stepping into the late Robbie Coltrane’s significant role in this decade-long adaptation of the eight-book series.
